Travis Dixon
Varsity Head Coach:

A Hamilton High School standout and proud alumnus, Dixon is back in Chandler, Arizona, to ignite a new era of gridiron glory. As a star quarterback, he carved his name in history, leading the Huskies to their first-ever state championships in 2003 and 2004 under the iconic John Wrenn, earning a spot on the prestigious Friday Night Fever All-Fever Team. His journey didn’t stop there—Dixon took his talents to UNLV, showcasing his versatility as a quarterback-turned-safety with relentless drive.

With over a decade of coaching experience, Dixon has honed his craft at elite levels, from Arizona State University to Abilene Christian and South Dakota School of Mines. Back in Arizona, he fueled Higley’s historic 5A state championship run in 2022 as a key assistant coach. In 2023, he transformed Eastmark High School’s Firebirds into a 9-3 powerhouse, clinching the 4A East Sky region title and storming into the playoff quarterfinals.

Now, at just 37, Dixon has seized the reins as Hamilton’s fourth head coach in program history, taking over in January 2024 with a hunger to dominate. This isn’t just a homecoming—it’s a call to battle. Coach Dixon brings a championship pedigree, a relentless work ethic, and a cutting-edge, data-driven approach to unleash the full potential of every Husky. He’s not just building a team; he’s forging warriors who thrive under pressure, master adaptability, and live for the thrill of victory.
