Johnnie Dixon - Varsity WR

Coach Johnnie Dixon, formerly played with The Ohio State University from 2014-2019. While there, he was voted Team Captain and per The Ohio State University’s website, “his eight touchdown receptions matched the eight he caught as a Junior in 2017 and places him 11th in Ohio State history with 16 touchdown receptions, including one in each of his final three games – all wins – as a Buckeye: vs. No. 4 Michigan, vs. No. 21 Northwestern in the Big Ten championship game and vs. No. 9 Washington in the Rose Bowl.”

While at The Ohio State University, Dixon was a part of a National Championship win, Big Ten Championships in 2014, 2017 and 2018 and bowl game wins in the Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl and Rose Bowl. Dixon understands the value of a great rivalry with 5 impressive wins against Michigan.

Johnnie Dixon signed with the Houston Texans as an Undrafted Free Agent in 2019. He also played with the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys before moving on to the USFL with the New Orleans Breakers.

The Hamilton Husky program is fortunate to have Coach Dixon and all the knowledge, winning culture and football experience he gained while at The Ohio State University, the NFL and the USFL.
